Coming into the preseason, the only roster lock at wide receiver was Davante Adams. As practices and games have gone by, there is a little more certainty at the top of the depth chart and a whole lot of uncertainty at the bottom.

Adams, Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling have their spots secured. Jake Kumerow looks to have the fourth spot all but locked up. After that, it’s all up for grabs.

Allen Lazard looks like an NFL receiver and a player 31 other teams may want if he doesn’t make this roster. Darrius Shepherd also appears to have a bright future in the league. Trevor Davis, with his return to practice this week, earned praise from the head coach and special teams coordinator Shawn Mennenga.

Aaron Rodgers also went out of his way to praise the solid work of Equanimeous St. Brown.

The one receiver lost in all this? J’Mon Moore. Moore has made a few nice catches in practice lately but has yet to put together anything resembling consistency in a game. His chances with the team may be running out.

As it stands, even if the Packers keep seven receivers on the final 53, it’s hard to find a spot for Moore. Moore still has two more games to show he belongs and make his case for 31 other teams, if not for the Packers.
