2. Jaire Alexander vs. Allen Robinson

On offense, the Bears spread the ball around and have multiple receiving threats the Packers will have to worry about, but Allen Robinson is still their most talented wide receiver. He led the team in receiving in 2018, catching 55 passes for 754 yards and four touchdowns.

At his best, Robinson is difficult to cover. He had a total of 2,283 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns for the Jacksonville Jaguars between 2015 and 2016. Entering his second season in Matt Nagy’s offense, and second since returning from a torn ACL, Robinson could finish much closer to 1,000 yards this year than in 2018.

Jaire Alexander is the Packers’ No. 1 corner, and he’ll likely spend a lot of time lined up opposite Robinson in this game.

Robinson had some success against the Packers last season, making seven receptions for 115 yards, but he didn’t score a touchdown.

Alexander will need to be at his best to stop Robinson having a big game. But Alexander — selected to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2018 — is one of the most exciting young cornerbacks in the league. He had a team-high 11 pass defenses in his rookie season. This should be an interesting contest between a talented wide receiver and cornerback.

In what could be a close game, both teams will need their best players on both sides of the ball to play well.
