The Green Bay Packers are in the top 10 of the Week 1 NFC power rankings.

The 2019 NFL season gets underway on Thursday night when the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears meet at Soldier Field. It should be an interesting game, and a perfect way to begin the new season. We’ll also get to see two potential contenders in the NFC play for the first time in 2019.

It’s difficult to name one team in the NFC as the clear favorite to reach the Super Bowl. In reality, there are multiple teams in the conference who could be playing at Hard Rock Stadium on February 2.

The Packers will need to improve in just about every area from last season if they are to even make the playoffs, and that’s before we even mention the possibility of competing in the NFC. But the Packers have star players at key positions and a talented roster. New head coach Matt LaFleur will be hoping they can get back to the postseason for the first time since 2016.

Predicting which teams will make the playoffs from the NFC isn’t easy. And it also makes putting together a power rankings for Week 1 equally challenging. But here we are. And based on everything that’s happened in the offseason, here’s my attempt at ranking each team in the NFC ahead of the opening week of the regular season.
