Predictions for the Green Bay Packers in 2019 ahead of their season opener.

Following the NFL schedule release back in April, I made my predictions for every game for the Green Bay Packers in 2019. Now with the chance to look back on the 2019 NFL Draft, training camp and the preseason, I’ve put together my updated predictions for the regular season.

Green Bay kicks off its season on Thursday night at Soldier Field. The Packers are 8-1 in their past nine trips to Chicago (including playoffs). However, that one defeat came last December. The Bears enter this game as the favorites and defending NFC North champions, something that hasn’t happened all that often in the past decade.

But following a tough start on the road, new head coach Matt LaFleur will be hoping his team can stack up victories with five of their next six being played at home. It’s an unusual schedule, and with so many home games taking place early on, the Packers then have to play six of their final nine on the road.

How many games will the Packers win in the regular season, and will it be enough to move on to the playoffs for the first time in three years? Here are my win-loss predictions ahead of the season opener.
