The Green Bay Packers’ stock report following their Week 1 win against the Chicago Bears.

Victory number one is in the books for the Green Bay Packers, and a potentially significant one too. Winning division games is always the top priority, but to do so on the road in the season opener is huge. Especially when the opponent happens to be the defending NFC North champions. In a showdown of the two defenses, the Packers came out on top to start the season in the perfect way.

With time to reflect on the game, we’ll take a look at the positives and negatives from the game. Winning is all that matters, but there are always areas to improve moving forward, particularly when the offense only puts up 10 points, even in a victory.

After months of trying to predict how Matt LaFleur’s offense would look, we now have one game on film to break down. A lot will change between now and Week 17, of course.

The Packers’ attention will now shift to the Minnesota Vikings, who visit Lambeau Field a week on Sunday. They’ll need to figure out what worked and what didn’t as they prepare for another important divisional contest.

And that’s what we’ll do here, too. Whose stock is rising and falling after the season opener?
