What did we learn from the Green Bay Packers’ Week 2 victory over the Minnesota Vikings?

The only team in the division with two wins? The Green Bay Packers. After defeating the Chicago Bears on the road last week, the Packers doubled up with another division win, this time against the Minnesota Vikings in the home opener. The regular season might only be two weeks old, but it can’t be understated how important these two victories could be for the Packers later in the season.

Green Bay now sits in first place in the NFC North, just ahead of the undefeated Detroit Lions, who are 1-0-1.

It was another up-and-down performance by the Packers. That doesn’t matter as they won the game, and that’s all that counts. The positives and negatives will be looked at in the coming days, and that’ll help them prepare for their next game, but they played well enough to win on Sunday.

Balance on offense is something Matt LaFleur wants to achieve, and they did that in Week 2. The Packers threw the ball 34 times and ran 33 times. Aaron Jones had 23 of the rushing attempts for 116 yards and a touchdown. He showed why he’s the featured back in this offense.

What did we learn from the Packers’ divisional victory in Week 2? Here are three takeaways from Green Bay’s second win of the year.
