The Green Bay Packers will need these five players to be at their best to defeat the Denver Broncos.

Week 3 sees the Green Bay Packers looking to build a winning streak. This is also the first time the team will play a foe outside of the division.

Two weeks, two victories. Matt LaFleur must think this coaching thing is pretty easy. I’m only joking. The Packers are anything but a finished product. But, they have been able to win to games against division rivals to give themselves a great start to their season.

Next up is the Denver Broncos and new head coach Vic Fangio. The Broncos as a team are not a common opponent. The Packers only play Denver every four years due to the regular league rotation. Although this team will look very familiar, at least on defense.

Fangio had been the defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears the last four years and was in the same capacity for the San Fransisco 49ers for four seasons prior to that. He knows this Packers team. More importantly, he seems to have a good handle on Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers are a different team than what Fangio is used to. LaFleur has changed up a stagnant offense and even though they are not running on all cylinders just yet, it is much different than what Mike McCarthy ran during his time in Green Bay.

The Broncos are a team stuck in the middle. The addition of Joe Flacco shows they are not intending to throw in the towel and rebuild. Yet, they do not have the talent to compete with the likes of the Chargers or Chiefs in their division.

After a rough showing against the Raiders, the Broncos gave Chicago all they could handle. If not for a questionable roughing the passer call, and some even more questionable game management by the officials, the Broncos would be 1-1 having handed a rival another loss.

As it is, Denver comes into the game looking to get redemption for the missed calls. Denver may not have enough talent to keep pace with the Chiefs and Chargers, but they do have plenty enough talent to pull off an upset on Sunday.

For the Packers to win, these five players will need to step up.
