3. Elgton Jenkins

One player on Philadelphia who is not banged up and can wreck any gameplan the Packers come up with is Fletcher Cox.

The player Cox is most likely to line up across from most of the game is the Packers’ rookie left guard. Against Denver, Elgton Jenkins was barely heard from, which is a good thing for a lineman. The less you hear from them, the better. It is assumed they are doing their job.

In fact, the entire offensive line played well as Rodgers was not sacked once. When Rodgers was pressured, it came from the edges, Von Miller or Bradley Chubb.

This will be Jenkins’ biggest test to date. Cox is an All-Pro who has the talent to dominate in the middle. He plays the run as well as the pass and if he gets going, it could be difficult in both aspects of the offense.

For an offense looking to get out of neutral, controlling Cox and limiting his impact will go a long way. The player I expect the Eagles to try to exploit will be Jenkins. If he can hold his own in this game, it can go a long way to making the team forget about Lane Taylor.
