In a tough fought game, the Green Bay Packers came up just short. Which five players earned kudos in the loss?

Matt LaFleur suffered his first loss in his young head coaching career. The Eagles were able to hang on to a seven-point lead despite being down double-digits early.

Green Bay‘s defense continued to struggle against the run as they gave up 176 yards on the ground. Also, for the first time this season, the defense was unable to get a game-changing turnover to make up for the gains on the ground.

It’s only one game and one loss, but the game was there for the taking and one that might not sit well with the new head coach. The officiating was suspect at best, and his play-calling inside the five-yard line was rather questionable.

What might be more troublesome than the loss, is the injuries to Davante Adams and Bryan Bulaga. In addition to Jamaal Williams‘ scary injury, neither player was able to finish the game. Adams’ prognosis seems to be good and the injury may not keep him out long, if at all. There hasn’t been much news on Bulaga and we probably won’t know much about his shoulder injury until later in the week.

Although it was only Week 4, this felt like a must-win game for Philly. They were coming off back-to-back losses and with Dallas being undefeated, they could not afford to fall behind any further in the standings.

Green Bay will now have to regroup before heading south to Texas to play the Cowboys. Before then, here are five players who stood out in the Week 4 loss to the Eagles.
