1. Kenny Clark

It seems like I’m putting Kenny Clark in this spot often. And I am with good reason. After only giving up 46 yards in the season opener to the Chicago Bears, the Packers’ run defense has given up over 100 yards in each game since.

Now they face a formidable foe regardless of struggles or success in run defense. Ezekiel Elliott is one of, if not the top back in the NFL. With him is one of the best offensive lines. The Packers catch somewhat of a break as Tyron Smith is likely out for this week with an ankle injury, but they still have two other All-Pros on the line with Travis Frederick and Zack Martin.

Clark, as well as his linemates, will need to shake off their struggles and put forth their best game of the season. There is little doubt the Cowboys saw what the Eagles did to the Packers by controlling the game with their O-line and stable of running backs. Don’t be surprised if they follow suit.

The Saints were able to corral Elliott in their win against this team last Sunday, forcing Prescott to throw more than he would like. If the Packers hope to win, they will have to take a page out of the Saints’ playbook and build up to stop the run.

And it all starts in the middle with Kenny Clark.
