Stock up: Offensive line

Despite dealing with a few injuries along the offensive line, this group has stepped up in recent weeks.

First, the Packers didn’t give up a single sack against the Denver Broncos. They’ve since given up just three sacks in the past two games. On Sunday against the Cowboys, the offensive line dominated, creating some big running lanes for Aaron Jones and Tra Carson.

Bryan Bulaga is playing some of the best football of his career. Bulaga has always been underrated. But just how dominant has he been this year? Check out this stat by Bill Huber of Sports Illustrated:

Many were talking about potentially cutting Bulaga in the offseason to free up cap room. Now we could be talking about a contract extension for the star right tackle.

It’s also quite amazing watching second-round pick Elgton Jenkins. It’s fair to say he should’ve been starting ahead of Lane Taylor all season. Since getting his opportunity, he’s looked comfortable in the role and should be the long-term starter. His best play might’ve come on Jones’ second touchdown run. Jenkins made an excellent block.

The offensive line continues to improve, and it’s no surprise to see the entire offense also getting better at the same time.
