Three quick takeaways from the Green Bay Packers’ Week 6 injury report ahead of Monday Night Football.

The Green Bay Packers‘ first injury report for Week 6 is here, a day later than normal due to the team playing on Monday Night Football.

There’s plenty to break down from the first injury report of the week.

Let’s attempt to do so.

Aaron Rodgers on the injury report

It’s never a good sign when Aaron Rodgers is on the injury report. It’s a surprise to see his name on there. Rodgers was limited due to a knee injury. But the fact he was practicing at all is perhaps a good sign. Let’s hope for good news as the week goes on.

The Packers won’t want their two-time MVP limited at all, but again, right now it’s impossible to know exactly what the injury is. We’ll get a clearer idea as the week goes on.

Not a good sign for Davante Adams

Among the players not participating was Davante Adams, and that’s a concern. He’s dealing with a toe injury that kept him out of the Packers’ Week 5 victory over the Cowboys. Getting him back for this game would be huge, but the early signs seemingly point to him missing another week.

Hopefully, the Packers are simply being cautious and he’ll be able to practice later in the week. But that seems somewhat wishful thinking at this point. We’ll see.

The other three players who didn’t practice were Darnell Savage, Robert Tonyan and Tony Brown. The Packers would love to have all three on the field Monday night, so let’s hope for better news in the coming days.

It’s still early and there’s time for all players to practice before the game.

The injury report just gets longer

The Packers’ injury report has been a long one all season, and more names just seem to get added every week. In total, 20 players are on Green Bay’s injury report compared to nine players for Detroit.

Not all of them are due to injury, however. Jimmy Graham and Bryan Bulaga were given veteran rest, for example.

Only four players didn’t practice, which is also encouraging news. Five players were listed as full participants, suggesting they’ll be available in four days time.
