Following the Green Bay Packers’ dramatic victory in Week 6, here are three takeaways.

Nobody said it was going to be easy.

Sometimes, you need to dig in when you’re not at your best, and somehow find a way to win. Up against a talented Detroit Lions team that looks very much in contention for a playoff berth, the Green Bay Packers were able to stay in the game. And finally, despite trailing for almost the entire game, Mason Crosby‘s field goal gave the Packers the comeback victory in the final seconds.

It’s a win that ensures Green Bay remains in first position of the NFC North, one game ahead of the Vikings. The Packers now have victories over all three division opponents, and who knows how important that might turn out to be later in the season?

The victory also means the Lions — who would’ve moved into first place with a win — drop down to 2-2-1 and sit in last place in the NFC North. That’s how close this division is after six weeks.

A lot will be said about the officiating. And for good reason. The Packers had their share of good fortune late in the game, although I’m sure many would agree, it’s about time. But take nothing away from the character the team showed to fight back and win the game.

After the victory, the Packers’ fifth on the season, here are three takeaways.
