If Aaron Jones or Jamaal Williams is on your fantasy football roster, start them in Week 8 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Green Bay Packers‘ talented running back duo have both been productive in recent weeks. Not just for the Packers, but also in fantasy football. And that should continue in a favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.

Similarly to the Packers, the Chiefs’ defense has struggled against the run. They are giving up an average of 148.9 yards per game on the ground, fourth-most in the NFL.

It sure seems like Davante Adams won’t be available in Week 8. Adams hasn’t practiced so far this week, and ESPN’s Rob Demovsky reported that he “doesn’t appear to be ready to practice yet” on Friday despite running half-speed routes.

That looks to be a good indication that Adams is at least another week away from returning. And that should lead to more opportunities for the Packers’ running backs.

In the three games Adams has missed, Jones and Williams have a combined 82 touches for 492 yards and seven touchdowns. Also, Williams didn’t play in one of those games.

Both running backs will be factors in the passing game, which gives them a high floor in PPR leagues. In each of the past two games, they’ve both had four catches each. They should continue to receive targets out of the backfield, especially if Adams is out.

The Chiefs are also dealing with injuries up front on defense. Defensive tackle Chris Jones, defensive end Frank Clark and linebacker Darron Lee all missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. There’s a chance all three could be out on Sunday, or limited if they play.

Jones and Williams have been excellent starters in fantasy the past few weeks, and that should continue against the Chiefs on Sunday.
