Darnell Savage and Blake Martinez are both active for tonight’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs have announced their inactives for tonight’s game at Arrowhead Stadium. The Packers will have safety Darnell Savage and inside linebacker Blake Martinez out there on defense, which is great news.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Savage is eased back into game action or whether he plays the majority of the snaps right away, as he was doing before his injury earlier in the season. Even if he only plays limited snaps, his return gives the defense a boost.

Wide receiver Davante Adams remains out, which isn’t a surprise after he was listed as doubtful to play on the injury report earlier in the week. Tight end Robert Tonyan is also out for this game.

But other than that, the Packers enter this game relatively healthy, especially now that they get Savage back. The rookie was missed in the past two games, and his return will be key up against the likes of Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Sammy Watkins tonight.

The Chiefs are missing some key players.

Patrick Mahomes is, of course, the most important player out of this game. But defensively, the Chiefs will be without defensive end Frank Clark and defensive tackle Chris Jones. They have combined for five sacks this season. Cornerback Kendall Fuller is also out against the Packers.

The Chiefs are also missing starting left guard Andrew Wylie.

But even with so many key players out of this game, the Chiefs are still one of the most talented teams in the NFL and have the home-field advantage in one of the loudest stadiums in the league. The Packers will have to be at their best to come away with their third road victory of the season.
