4. Adrian Amos makes interception against his former team

All offseason long, many Packers and Bears fans debated whether Adrian Amos or Ha Ha Clinton-Dix would have the best season. Amos joined the Packers from the Bears this past offseason, while Clinton-Dix signed with the Bears after the Packers had traded him to Washington last season.

After the opening game of the year, it was advantage Amos.

With a need at safety, the Packers signed Amos in the offseason with the hope he’d make an immediate impact in the secondary. And that’s exactly what he did. After a strong debut, he made one of the key plays of the game, intercepting former teammate Mitch Trubisky in the end zone to prevent Chicago from tying the game.

The interception came with just under two minutes remaining. It allowed the offense to take some time off the clock before punting away and forcing the Bears to travel the length of the field with only a little over a minute remaining. Had Amos not made the play, the Packers might not have closed the game out.

Amos has been a great addition to Green Bay’s defense this season. But his biggest impact so far came in his debut. And the fact it came against the Packers’ oldest rivals, and his former team, made it even better.
