3. Offensive line

Guard and tackle are two separate needs, but for this article I’ve put them together. The Packers may be in search of a future starter at guard. And depending on Bryan Bulaga‘s future, they may also be looking for a new starter at right tackle.

Bulaga has played well enough this season to deserve a new contract. But he’ll turn 31 in the offseason and, given his long injury history, the Packers may decide to move on.

In that case, who replaces him will be an important decision. Maybe Billy Turner will slide over to right tackle, or perhaps the Packers have high hopes for Alex Light, who impressed when he filled in for both Bulaga and David Bakhtiari against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8.

Three positions look set for 2020: Left tackle, left guard and center. Elgton Jenkins looks like a great addition in the second round this year, but free-agent signing Turner has been inconsistent. If Bulaga goes, the Packers could be looking for a new right tackle and/or a right guard.

Even if Bulaga does re-sign and the Packers decide to keep their starting five the same as this year, getting more depth along the offensive line should be a priority.
