Takeaways from the Green Bay Packers’ Week 10 injury report after Thursday.

Overall, the Green Bay Packers are getting healthier. That’s good news ahead of an important NFC matchup with the Carolina Panthers this weekend.

The injury report didn’t have too many changes from Wednesday, but let’s take a closer look.

Here are three quick takeaways:

Amos a doubt for Sunday?

Safety Adrian Amos is listed on the injury report with a hamstring injury. While it’s possible it’s a minor issue and the Packers are simply being cautious with the expectation he plays on Sunday, it’s also possible he’ll be ruled out tomorrow.

Amos has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, which isn’t a good sign that he’ll be out there this week.

With just one game to go until the bye, it makes sense to rest Amos this week and give him an additional week to get healthy. He’s so important to the defense but shouldn’t play unless he’s 100 percent.

King practices fully

Limited in last week’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Kevin King was limited during Wednesday’s practice but was upgraded to full practice on Thursday. It didn’t appear he was at 100 percent last week as he was rotated in and out of the game, but the fact he was able to practice fully on Thursday is a good sign.

Again, with the bye week coming up, the hope is the additional time off will help him get back to full health.

Expect to see McCaffrey this week

The Panthers’ all-world running back Christian McCaffrey missed practice on Wednesday due to a knee issue, but he was back out there as a limited participant on Thursday. McCaffrey was on the injury report last week also, but practiced in full at the end of the week.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s a full participant tomorrow and doesn’t carry an injury designation for Sunday’s game.

The Packers will likely need to find a way to limit McCaffrey in this game if they are to have a chance of winning.
