Week 15: Chicago Bears

Securing a 10th victory before Week 15 would be big for the Packers as it’s here they enter a run of three straight divisional games, with two of them on the road. While the Chicago Bears haven’t yet lived up to expectations this year, no division game is ever easy. The good news is that this game takes place at Lambeau Field.

By this point of the season, the Bears will likely be well out of the playoff race.

I expect this to be a more open game than the 10-3 scoreline we saw in Week 1. Since then, both defenses have taken a step back, the Packers more so.

Surprisingly, Chicago ranks 13th in pass defense after eight games, allowing 230.1 yards per game. Despite that, it’s still been tough to score touchdowns through the air against them. They’re allowing just one passing touchdown per game on average.

With the Bears out of playoff contention and the Packers still looking to close out their first division championship since 2016, I expect a victory for the home team. Green Bay completes the season sweep over its oldest rival and, depending on other results, could secure the division title here. It would be the reverse of last season when the Bears won the division with a home win over the Packers in Week 15.

Prediction: Packers 27, Bears 14 (11-3)
