Week 16: at Minnesota Vikings

Hopefully, the Packers will have the NFC North title wrapped up before Christmas. If not, it could come down to the wire. This will be a particularly tough game on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

Green Bay is still searching for its first victory at U.S. Bank Stadium after losing three in a row there. It’s the opposite of AT&T Stadium for the Packers. It doesn’t matter how well the Packers play there, they always seem to win. Even when Matt Flynn is at quarterback and they’re down 26-3 at halftime. The opposite is true at U.S. Bank Stadium. No matter what, it seems the Packers can’t figure out how to win in that stadium.

Maybe that’ll change this season. The Packers got the win at Lambeau Field in Week 2 after a dominant first-quarter performance. The Vikings fought back, but the Packers were able to hold onto a key divisional win early in the season.

Unfortunately, I don’t see Green Bay securing the sweep. It’ll be another tough game on the road and a fourth straight loss at U.S. Bank Stadium. I don’t think it’ll matter in the division standings, but a loss here could cost the Packers a chance of securing a first-round bye in the postseason.

Prediction: Vikings 24, Packers 20 (11-4)
