What do the Green Bay Packers need to fix in their bye week?

The Green Bay Packers have finally made it to their bye week. It’s been a long, roller-coaster ride so far, but the Packers arrive at their week off with an NFC North-leading 8-2 record. Before the start of the season, one has to think Matt LaFleur would’ve been delighted with that.

The Packers aren’t just in first place of the NFC North, but they’ve also moved into the top two of the NFC following their victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The New Orleans Saints surprisingly lost at home to the Atlanta Falcons. As things stand, the Packers are on course for a first-round bye in the playoffs. However, the Saints have played one fewer game and have the chance to match the Packers’ record next week.

Green Bay has two weeks to get ready for a matchup with the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. That’s a big game. Having an extra week to prepare for that game could make a huge difference.

First of all, the bye week gives everyone a chance to catch their breath and get healthy. But it’s also a time for the team to reflect on the 10 games they’ve played.
