The Green Bay Packers have jumped up two positions in the Week 11 NFL Spin Zone power rankings.

It was just the response the Green Bay Packers needed. After an upset loss to the Los Angeles Chargers a week before, the Packers responded with a big win at home against the Carolina Panthers.

Following their victory in Week 10, the Packers have jumped up two positions to fourth in the NFL Spin Zone power rankings for Week 11 by Dan Parzych.

Green Bay is currently the number two-ranked team in the NFC, and this is reflected in the rankings. Only the San Francisco 49ers — who enter their Monday Night Football game with a perfect 8-0 record — are ahead of the Packers. That will quickly change if Green Bay can pull off a road win against San Francisco in two weeks.

Sunday’s game against the Panthers was one of the biggest tests under Matt LaFleur to date. Having lost the way they did in Los Angeles, it was so important for this team to respond well, especially ahead of the bye week. And that’s exactly the type of performance LaFleur got out of his team in snowy conditions at Lambeau Field.

Six games remain for the Packers. And there are some big ones in there. Green Bay faces road games against the 49ers, New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. The two remaining home games are against the Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears.

How many wins will they need to secure one of the top two seeds and a first-round bye? Four might do it, but they may need to win five of their final six, a tall order. But winning the division won’t be easy, either, as the Vikings are only a game behind and host the Packers just before Christmas.

Green Bay needs to continue to build momentum after the bye week, but for now, the team is in second place of the NFC.
