The Smith Bros.

I know this technically makes the article four players who should make the Pro Bowl, but it was difficult to leave someone off the list, and the Smith Bros. should go to the Pro Bowl together.

Both Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith have been dominant this season.

Preston Smith ranks fifth in the NFL with a 27 percent pass rush win rate, according to ESPN. He has 10 sacks on the season, good for third in the NFL. According to Pro Football Reference, he has 18 quarterback hits, which ranks seventh. Smith also has three passes defended, a forced fumble and an interception.

Za’Darius Smith has been equally impressive. He ranks 10th in the NFL with a 25 percent pass rush win rate, according to ESPN. Smith has 8.5 sacks, which ties for sixth. According to Pro Football Reference, he has 20 quarterback hits, which ranks second.

The Smiths have been far and away the best pass-rushing tandem in the NFL this season, and the numbers back it up. They should both make their first Pro Bowl this year, and they should both be starting in the NFC team. Of course, we hope they’re not actually playing in the game and are instead preparing for the Super Bowl.
