The Green Bay Packers are fourth in the Week 12 NFL Spin Zone power rankings.

After their bye week, the Green Bay Packers remain in fourth position of the NFL Spin Zone power rankings by Randy Gurzi.

The Packers are second in the NFC and remain in that position despite not playing this past weekend. Their most recent game came two weeks ago against the Carolina Panthers, which was an eight-point victory for Green Bay.

With six games to go, the Packers have a great opportunity to not just make their return to the playoffs, but also earn another bye week in the opening round. To do so, they might need to get a win this weekend when they visit the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.

The 49ers have been one of the most impressive teams in football this season, but they don’t look unbeatable. They’ve survived two potential upsets against the Arizona Cardinals in the past three weeks and lost in between against the Seattle Seahawks. Two of those games were at home.

A Packers win this weekend would likely move them into the top two of just about every power rankings around the internet.

We’re in for an exciting final six weeks of the season. A number of key matchups will shape the NFC playoff picture, and ultimately these power rankings, including: Packers-49ers, 49ers-Saints, Packers-Vikings, Vikings-Seahawks and 49ers-Seahawks.

Can Green Bay replicate its final six games of the 2016 season by running the table? Doing so this time might ensure the team has home field advantage throughout the playoffs, which would be the first time in eight years. Earning either the first or second seed would be the first time Green Bay had a bye in five seasons.

Fourth is about right in the power rankings, but a win on Sunday night would likely see the Packers jump up to first among teams in the NFC.
