Packers vs. 49ers Week 12: Start time, live stream, TV info and more
How to watch the must-see Week 12 showdown between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.
It’s the biggest game of the Green Bay Packers‘ season, just as everybody expected back in April.
Both the Packers, who enter Week 12 as the number two seed in the NFC, and their opponents, the San Francisco 49ers, who are the number one seed, have exceeded expectations this season.
And now they meet in what should be one of the games of the regular season. Here’s how to watch:
Date: Sunday, Nov. 24
Kickoff time: 7:20 p.m. CT
Location: Santa Clara, California
Stadium: Levi’s Stadium
TV channel: NBC
Live stream: NBC Live Extra, fuboTV
So much is on the line here. In the short term, the winning team will finish Week 12 in first place of the conference. The losing team could be in a tie for their division lead, losing a one-game advantage.
A Packers loss would mean that they’d be tied with the Minnesota Vikings, who are currently on their bye week with an 8-3 record. Green Bay would still remain in first place after defeating Minnesota earlier this season.
The 49ers enter the weekend as the NFC’s top seed, but they could fall all the way to the fifth seed if they lose. If the Packers win on Sunday night and the Seattle Seahawks defeat the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the day, the Seahawks would take over first place in the NFC West, meaning the 49ers would fall into the wild-card spots.
A win could be crucial on Sunday Night Football for both teams.
Then there is the head-to-head tiebreaker that will belong to the winner on Sunday, as well as a crucial victory against a conference opponent and another playoff contender. Who knows, maybe the result of this game will be the deciding factor in which team hosts the NFC Championship Game. You just never know.
All I know is that this is a must-watch game, and it’s a chance for Matt LaFleur’s Packers to earn a statement road win against the team that has set the pace in the NFC this season.
