After a heavy defeat to the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur needs to make a few key adjustments.

Matt LaFleur has made an impressive start as head coach of the Green Bay Packers, but the adjustments he makes in the next couple of weeks could determine the success of this team for the remainder of the season.

The way the Packers played this past week simply wasn’t good enough. This was a healthy team that had an extra seven days to prepare with the bye week. After a chance to evaluate the opening 10 games of the season, this wasn’t the type of performance fans expected to see.

Give the San Francisco 49ers a ton of credit. They are where they are this season for a reason. They’ve built a strong roster at just about every position and are real contenders for the Super Bowl this year. But the Packers are supposed to be competing in the NFC too. On Sunday night, they looked a million miles away from the NFC’s top team.

With five weeks to go, the Packers remain in first place of the NFC North due to the tiebreaker over the Minnesota Vikings. But to win the division, they’ll need to make some adjustments after Sunday night’s disappointing performance.

Here are three changes they need to make moving forward.
