The health of the team

Overall, the Packers are close to being fully healthy. They have lost backup guard Cole Madison for the season after he tore his ACL in practice, and starting right tackle Bryan Bulaga left last Sunday’s game due to a knee injury. The good news is that Bulaga avoided a serious injury, according to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky.

The Packers have also added depth by claiming former New England Patriots tackle Jared Veldheer off waivers, as NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday.

Davante Adams is healthy after missing a month with a toe injury. Only one player on last week’s injury report missed the game against the 49ers.

Of course, a few injuries could happen in one game and suddenly depth at certain positions could become a concern. But right now, the Packers are fortunate with their current health. We’ve seen far too often how injuries can pile up for this team, so it’s nice to see them get some good luck so far this season.

And when it comes down to five important games to finish the regular season, having the majority of the roster available will make a huge difference. Entering Week 13, the Packers have to be one of the healthiest teams in the league.
