The upcoming schedule

To make the Packers’ playoff chances even more likely, take a look at their schedule. Outside of a road game against the Minnesota Vikings, the schedule isn’t daunting at all. The next three games come against the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Chicago Bears, with two of them being played at Lambeau Field.

Those three teams are a combined 9-25. First up is a game against the Giants, a team that has lost seven straight.

To close out the season, the Packers visit Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions, a team that has been hit with injuries and has massively underachieved. The Lions enter Week 13 with a 3-7-1 record. Matthew Stafford might not play again this season, which would make the Packers strong favorites in the season finale.

The schedule has been a tough one so far this year, with five of Green Bay’s 11 games coming against teams with winning records. Three of the teams without winning records have won five games.

That all changes in the coming weeks. In the final month of the regular season, the Packers will face just one team with a winning record, two teams with two wins and one team with three wins.
