Five wide receivers the Green Bay Packers could potentially target in free agency next offseason.

Wide receiver might be the Green Bay Packers‘ premier need when the offseason begins. Fortunately, the position looks to be deep in the upcoming draft which should give general manager Brian Gutekunst plenty of options. But Gutekunst may also decide to opt for experience and turn to free agency.

This past offseason shows his willingness to be aggressive when it comes to addressing a top need. He used both free agency and the draft to fix the Packers’ need at edge rusher back in the spring, and he could do the same at wide receiver.

This early, it’s impossible to know exactly who will be available as teams will aim to re-sign players prior to the end of the season. Then will come the franchise tags used by teams ahead of free agency beginning. But it’s still an interesting exercise to look ahead at potential directions the Packers could go in during the offseason.

So that’s what we’ll do. The Packers will be aiming to find success in the postseason with their current depth chart at wide receiver, but it’s almost certainly a position they’ll look to upgrade in 2020.

Here are five potential free agents at receiver they could look to sign.
