Packers: Kevin King, Tony Brown questionable vs. Redskins in Week 14
Cornerbacks Kevin King and Tony Brown are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.
Once again, the Green Bay Packers are close to full strength this week. But they could be without two key players in the secondary, Kevin King and Tony Brown.
Both players were listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report ahead of the game against the Washington Redskins this weekend. The encouraging sign is that they both practiced all week. Brown was a full participant each day, while King was limited on Wednesday and Thursday before practicing fully on Friday.
More good news is that Davante Adams practiced fully all week. He’s still been listed on the injury report each week despite returning from a toe injury that kept him out for a month. Bryan Bulaga was also a full participant on Friday and he’s good to go.
Of the 12 players on the injury report, only three didn’t practice in full on Friday. Jimmy Graham and Jamaal Williams were limited due to injury. Marcedes Lewis was also limited, but that was non-injury related and simply veteran rest.
The Redskins are also relatively healthy this week, although they’ll be without wide receivers Trey Quinn and Paul Richardson, as well as safety Deshazor Everett. All three players have been ruled out. But that’s it. Every other Washington player on the injury report is good to go.
Despite the Redskins winning two in a row, the Packers will be expected to win this game at Lambeau Field, as long as they don’t look beyond this week and play at their best. A similar performance to last week’s win against the New York Giants is my expectation.
But nothing is a given in the NFL. The Packers might be favorites, but they’ll need to earn the victory on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
