A win over the Chicago Bears would make for a great weekend. These five teams also winning would make it the perfect weekend for the Green Bay Packers.

Three teams stand in the Green Bay Packers‘ way of a first-round bye. In an ideal world, the Packers will beat the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions to complete a perfect 6-0 record in the NFC North, regain the division title and finish with no worse than the NFC’s No. 2 seed. But that might be wishful thinking.

Running the table is the Packers’ clearest path to the NFC North crown and a week off in January. But things don’t always go smoothly, especially when playing three straight divisional games.

The Packers may need some help along the way. And even if they don’t, a couple of favorable results elsewhere can increase Green Bay’s margin for error in the final few weeks.

It’s possible for the Packers to secure a playoff berth as early as this weekend. They’d need to get the win on Sunday over the Chicago Bears and get some help, but it’s possible. But it’s also still a possibility that they don’t make the postseason at all, even if it’s only a small percentage at this point.

A lot can happen in the final few weeks of the season. Matt LaFleur’s team can only control what’s in front of them, and this week that’s the Chicago Bears. But let’s look around the NFL at five teams that can help Green Bay in Week 15.
