Packers: Kevin King limited at practice on Thursday ahead of Week 15
Kevin King and Davante Adams were both limited at practice on Thursday.
Twelve players are on the Green Bay Packers‘ injury report ahead of Sunday’s important game against the Chicago Bears.
But only two players didn’t practice on Thursday, and neither was due to an injury. Tight end Marcedes Lewis was given veteran rest, something we’ve seen for a few players often this season. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga and cornerback Tramon Williams have also been given veteran rest this week. Cornerback Josh Jackson didn’t practice due to personal reasons.
Cornerback Kevin King missed last week’s win against the Washington Redskins, and he was limited at practice. For now, it looks like he’s uncertain to return this week against the Bears, although it’s too early in the week to tell.
Wide receiver Davante Adams was also limited at practice on Thursday, despite being a full participant on Wednesday. He’s still on the injury report due to the toe injury he suffered back in September, but after missing four games, he’s been able to play through it.
Wide receiver Geronimo Allison was a full participant on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday due to a knee injury. Tight end Jimmy Graham was limited again due to a wrist injury.
Six players didn’t practice for the Bears. Tight end Ben Braunecker and wide receiver Taylor Gabriel could miss Sunday’s game due to a concussion. Offensive lineman Bobby Massie and receiver Javon Wims also missed practice.
On defense, it’s looking like the Bears could again be without linebacker Danny Trevathan, who didn’t practice. Defensive end Roy Robertson-Harris also didn’t practice on Thursday.
The Packers aren’t at 100 percent, but outside of players who missed practice due to non-injury reasons, everyone practiced. The Bears, however, could be without a few key players on Sunday.
We’ll find out which players have been ruled out, and who is likely to play, on Friday.
