5. Mason Crosby

Year after year, Mason Crosby is one of the most consistent kickers in the NFL. Yet he often goes overlooked. Look around the league and you’ll see kicking problems at a number of teams. Even the New England Patriots have had to make changes at the position this year. But not the Packers. And that’s because they’ve got Crosby.

Green Bay’s longtime kicker has had a tough year off the field, yet he’s remained the ultimate professional on the field and is playing as well as he ever has. And let’s not forget he had to win a training camp battle against Sam Ficken.

It’s sometimes easy to take his kicks for granted. Kick after kick. Up he steps, and puts it through. This season, Crosby has converted 94.1 percent of his field goal attempts, the third-best record in the NFL and number one in the NFC. Of the top-three players in field goal percentage this season, only Crosby has a perfect record on extra-point attempts.

He’s only missed one kick all season, but he’s made the majority of his toughest kicks, going 5-of-6 from 40-50 yards. He converted his only attempt from over 50 yards, a 54-yarder against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Crosby is playing at an All-Pro level and deserves to be selected this season.
