In Week 1, the Packers gave up five sacks to the Chicago Bears. Although Khalil Mack wasn’t able to wreck the game, his running mates were able to keep the pressure on Rodgers all game long, never allowing him to get comfortable in the pocket and held the Packers to only 10 points.

It was a much different story this time. The Bears were only able to muster one sack on a blitz up the middle. Mack barely pressured Rodgers and was blanked again in the sack column. That was all thanks to the work of tackles David Bakhtiari and Bryan Bulaga.

Towards the end of the game, the Bears were finally able to start getting pressure on the Packers but for most of the game, Rodgers had a clean pocket and lots of time to throw. Drops and missed opportunities were more to blame for the slowing offense than anything these two did.

The task won’t get any easier for them as the Vikings and their talented defensive line is on deck. Bulaga will get an extra day to rest and get ready as the game is on Monday night. After the work they did against the Bears, they’ve earned a little extra downtime.
