Another week, another win. And once again, it was anything but a convincing victory. But style points count for nothing. The way you win doesn’t matter. They all count for the same.

And Matt LaFleur’s Packers know how to win, which is perhaps the biggest compliment you can give them. They’re used to playing in close games, yet they’ve found ways to win them more often than not this season, which is why they currently sit second in the NFC with an 11-3 record and ticket to the playoffs in the bag.

The NFL Spin Zone power rankings for Week 16, written by Dan Parzych, reflect the Packers’ position in the standings. They remain fourth in the power rankings after their victory over the Chicago Bears. Some teams have moved up and down around them, but Green Bay keeps its spot in fourth.

Parzych wrote about the trio of Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones and Davante Adams. He added that this team “could be difficult to beat once January arrives”, and it’s hard to disagree.

The Packers are hardly playing the best football in the league right now. Far from it. But that doesn’t matter. And for all of the inconsistent play we’ve seen on offense, look at the talent the Packers have.

The offensive line features an All-Pro at left tackle in David Bakhtiari. The Packers’ pass protection is among the best in football. Aaron Jones has 17 touchdowns this season and is having his best season. Davante Adams has caught four touchdowns in his past four games and looks fully healthy after a toe injury he was dealing with. Adams’ record in recent years speaks for itself.

And then there’s Rodgers, who even not at his MVP best is still one of the top passers in the league. With him, the Packers have the chance to go all the way.

Looking at the talent on offense alone, the Packers can go far if they can find some consistency. We’ve seen moments of brilliance from this team. They just need to put it together, and that could happen in the playoffs.

One thing is for sure. They know how to win games. And that’s just as valuable when tough playoff games roll around. Sitting at 11-3 and in first place of the NFC North, they deservedly take fourth position in the power rankings.
