With the regular season in the books, here are some of the best and worst things about the 2019 Green Bay Packers.

The Packers provided Green Bay fans with an unexpectedly successful season. There were ups and downs, but for the most part, it was a fun regular season to watch.

There were some really exciting plays, and then some head-scratching performances, blowouts, and nail-biters. The 2019 Packers gave you a little bit of everything.

So let’s take a look at some of the best (and worst) moments of Green Bay’s 2019 regular season.

Biggest Surprise

Allen Lazard

Allen Lazard wasn’t even supposed to be on the team this year. He joined the Packers in December 2018 when he was signed off the Jaguars’ practice squad. He appeared in one game last year and had one catch for seven yards.

During the 2019 preseason, he did not make the Packers 53-man roster and was cut. They brought him back to be on the practice squad and activated him to the active roster just a few days later.

When it seemed like he would just be “a guy”, he played hero when the Packers hosted the Detroit Lions in Week 6. With Davante Adams out with an injury, Lazard caught four passes for 65 yards and his first career touchdown with just nine minutes left to bring the Pack to within three. He was a big reason why Green Bay was able to escape with a win that night.
