A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Saturday, Jan. 11.

Welcome to the Packers News Report.

The divisional round kicks off today. By the end of the day we’ll know — should the Green Bay Packers advance to the NFC Championship Game — whether they will host the Minnesota Vikings or visit the San Francisco 49ers. Which would you prefer?

I’d go with the home game, while understanding that requires rooting for the Vikings this week. And that would also create the possibility of sweeping the Vikings in the regular season then losing to them with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, and that would tough to deal with. But, realistically, Green Bay’s best shot at reaching the big game is to host the team it has already beaten twice, as opposed to visiting the team that it lost 37-8 to.
