Packers advance to the Super Bowl

The Packers aren’t expected to win this game.

As you can see below, The Action Network has the 49ers as 7.5-point favorites in the NFC Championship Game.

And that’s what makes this a bold prediction. The Packers will be the team to win, with Aaron Rodgers reaching his second Super Bowl and an opportunity to build on his legacy. And it’s for all of the reasons mentioned in this article.

We won’t see the same performance as in Week 12; Green Bay will make this much closer after learning valuable lessons from the first meeting. By winning the turnover battle, the Packers will be able to steal a possession or two and that could make all the difference.

The 49ers are healthier than they were in the first game with the return of Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander and Joe Staley. But the Packers are, too, with Davante Adams at 100 percent, Bryan Bulaga back in the lineup and possibly Raven Greene also back for this game.

Green Bay faces a tough challenge this weekend in the NFC Championship Game, but this team has found ways to win throughout the season. After falling short in their past two visits to this round of the playoffs, the Packers finally make it back to the Super Bowl.
