Davante Adams, Za’Darius Smith and Kenny Clark are heading to the Pro Bowl.

The Packers may have missed out on the Super Bowl, but three players on the roster have deservedly been named to the Pro Bowl.

Davante Adams, Za’Darius Smith and Kenny Clark are now all part of the NFC’s team having initially missed out.

According to NFL.com, Adams will be replacing Julio Jones, who won’t play in the Pro Bowl due to injury. Smith has replaced Khalil Mack and Clark replaces Aaron Donald. An argument can certainly be made that Smith should’ve been voted to the Pro Bowl ahead of Mack in the first place.

All three players deserve to be part of the Pro Bowl this season, and the Packers will now have five selections this year. As well as the three players added to the NFC roster on Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers and David Bakhtiari were also selected.

Aaron Jones is still not part of the Pro Bowl, however, which is hard to believe. Christian McCaffrey pulled out due to injury and was replaced by Alvin Kamara.

Kamara finished the 2019 season with 797 rushing yards and five touchdowns, along with 533 receiving yards and a touchdown. That’s 1,330 total yards with six touchdowns.

Jones finished the 2019 season with 1,084 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns, along with 474 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That’s 1,558 total yards with 19 touchdowns.

Rodgers and Bakhtiari won’t be playing in the Pro Bowl as they have both withdrawn from playing this week. Rodgers was replaced by Kirk Cousins and Bakhtiari replaced by Lane Johnson.

Sunday’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers was a disappointing way for this season to end, but it’s good to see Adams, Smith and Clark joining the Pro Bowl roster. It will be the first Pro Bowl for Smith and Clark, and the third in a row for Adams.
