Five potential targets for the Green Bay Packers at wide receiver this offseason.

Wide receiver is the Green Bay Packers‘ biggest need this offseason. It’s a position that general manager Brian Gutekunst shouldn’t just address once, but potentially two or three times. Outside of star receiver Davante Adams, the Packers need an overhaul at the position.

Playing in 12 games, Adams put up 997 receiving yards and five touchdowns. All six receivers not named Adams who caught a pass this season combined for 1,464 yards and eight touchdowns. Had Adams played in every game, he could’ve outproduced every other receiver on the roster.

Geronimo Allison (34 receptions, 287 yards, two touchdowns) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (26 receptions, 452 yards, two touchdowns) both failed to put up consistent numbers. Prior to the season, it was believed they’d make up the team’s top three receivers along with Adams. Instead, Allen Lazard jumped ahead of them on the depth chart.

While the Packers will get Equanimeous St. Brown back from injury next season, and MVS could still yet develop into the player Green Bay hoped to have drafted two years ago, Gutekunst can’t bank on that and needs to add more talent at the position in the offseason.

Looking at both free agency and the draft, here are five potential targets for the Packers this offseason.
