Four free agents the Packers could target this offseason.

Little over a month away, free agency is set to be an important period for the Green Bay Packers as they look to take the next step towards returning to the Super Bowl.

The Packers were among the most active teams in the first week of free agency a year ago. The same might not be true in 2020, but they will likely be busy once again.

Let’s take a look at four players they should target in free agency.

Cory Littleton, LB

Much like edge rusher and safety last year, inside linebacker needs some serious work this offseason. There’s a deep pool of wide receiver talent in the draft but the same can’t be said at linebacker, making it the number one priority in free agency.

Cory Littleton would go a long way to fixing the Packers’ problems in the middle of the defense. A Pro Bowler and second-team All-Pro in 2018, Littleton will likely draw plenty of interest from around the league should he not re-sign with the Los Angeles Rams.

Littleton is excellent in coverage and has five interceptions (including a pick-six) and 22 pass defenses over the past two seasons. He also has 7.5 sacks since the start of 2018.

Littleton would be a huge upgrade for the Packers at inside linebacker, although there might be competition to sign him from around the league.
