The Green Bay Packers’ preparations for the 2020 NFL Draft continue this week at the scouting combine.

We’ve arrived at one of the most important weeks in the pre-draft process, the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

The combine begins on Sunday, although the on-field workouts don’t get underway until later in the week. Today, the first group of players will arrive in Indianapolis.

Interviews will take place throughout the week and the Green Bay Packers will have the opportunity to meet with a number of prospects. Then later in the week, starting Thursday, the focus will turn to the on-field workouts.

You can find the full schedule for the on-field workouts over at NFL.com. It begins with the tight ends, quarterbacks and wide receivers on Thursday and concludes with the defensive backs on Sunday.

If you plan to watch any of the combine this week, be sure to check out this article by Lombardi Ave’s Christian Borman. He goes through the day-by-day schedule, looking at which prospects Packers fans should watch through the week.

NFL.com also published a full list of draft prospects who will be participating at the combine this week. It includes potential Packers targets like linebackers Kenneth Murray and Patrick Queen, and wide receivers Tee Higgins, Justin Jefferson and Brandon Aiyuk.

For Packers fans, the days to watch will be Thursday and Saturday. On Thursday, the tight ends and wide receivers will have their on-field workouts, two positions of need for Green Bay. On Saturday, the defensive linemen and linebackers will be participating.

The combine is another important step in preparing for the draft. Over the next week, many draft prospects will raise their stock. For some, that may mean establishing themselves as first-rounders. For others, the opposite could be true and they may no longer be considered first-round picks by NFL teams.
