Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst will speak to the media on Tuesday.

It’s officially the week of the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine, which means we’ll hear from both Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and general manager Brian Gutekunst.

They will both speak to the media on Tuesday morning. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, Gutekunst is up first and will be taking questions at 10 a.m. CT. LaFleur will then speak to the media at 11:15 a.m. CT.

While they won’t be giving away too much information, it will be interesting to hear from them on topics such as where the Packers need to improve and the type of players they want to add this offseason.

Gutekunst has been willing to speak to the media frequently, and he even sat down with a number of beat writers last week. Mike Spofford of Packers.com wrote a great article on the top five things learned from Gutekunst’s Q&A session ahead of the NFL Combine.

Gutekunst spoke about free agency, which starts in around three weeks, and the potential of drafting a quarterback early. Interestingly, he also spoke about the importance of re-signing Mason Crosby. He wasn’t lying, either, with Crosby agreeing to a new three-year deal this past weekend.

We last heard from LaFleur at his season-ending press conference. Now that some more time has passed and we’re fully into the offseason, it’ll be interesting to hear what he has to say about his first season as head coach and how the team can improve moving forward.

This will be a big week for the Packers. They’ll get the opportunity to meet with a number of draft prospects. The on-field workouts including the 40-yard dash will also be important. The on-field workouts will take place between Thursday and Sunday, starting with the tight ends, quarterbacks and wide receivers.
