The Packers will need to make some moves to improve their roster next year. Here are five players who won’t be Packers next season.

The offseason can an exciting time of year for Green Bay Packers fans. Sadly, there is no football being played, but this is when you get to watch your favorite team add new players to a roster that will bring hope for the next season, whether it is just being better than the previous year, or seeing your team hoist the Lombardi Trophy next February in Tampa Bay.

With that being said, there is a trade-off. There are only 53 available spots on NFL rosters, so when you add new players, some will/may have to go. Other than the players who are going into free agency, the Packers stand to lose other players. It may be due to the price of their salary and how tight the budget is, or that a players’ performance hasn’t been up to the team’s expectations.

The Packers surprised a lot of people last year going 13-3, winning the NFC North and going to the NFC Championship game. Now, they need to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. They went out and spent a lot of money last season, which paid huge dividends, but that means less money this year.

They will need to pay players like Bryan Bulaga, who was a huge part of the offense last season. So money will be extremely tight, especially with the draft class needing to be signed and a few holes to fill. To make some room, the Packers may need to make some moves to free up some cap space that will allow them to operate a little more freely in the draft and hopefully in free agency.

Here are four Packers I don’t think will be Packers by Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
