Packers pre-free agency three-round mock draft 2020
A Packers three-round mock draft ahead of free agency.
Signings made next week, or players lost to other teams, will have a direct impact on the Green Bay Packers‘ draft board. Before then, I’ve put together a pre-free agency mock draft.
For the Packers to successfully address all of their biggest needs, they’ll need to be active in free agency as well as using early-round picks at positions of need.
Fans have good reason to have confidence in general manager Brian Gutekunst, who struck gold in free agency a year ago with the signings of the Smith Bros., while Adrian Amos and Billy Turner also played well, starting every game. Following that, Gutekunst drafted two players — Darnell Savage and Elgton Jenkins — who made the 2019 PFWA All-Rookie Team. That’s not a bad offseason.
With needs at inside linebacker, wide receiver, tight end, and offensive tackle just to name a few, Gutekunst will be aiming for another strong offseason to help the Packers take a step further than this past season and return to the Super Bowl.
To create this three-round mock draft, I used The Draft Network’s mock draft machine. No trades were made, meaning Green Bay picks at No. 30 overall, No. 62 and No. 94 with one selection in each round.
