A roundup of the latest Green Bay Packers articles for Tuesday, March 17.
Welcome to the Packers News Report.
The first day of the NFL’s two-day negotiating window is in the books, and it was an exciting one. Big signings and blockbuster trades were made around the league.
The Green Bay Packers were active in free agency, too, signing two players at positions of need: inside linebacker Christian Kirksey and tackle Rick Wagner. While general manager Brian Gutekunst didn’t spend big money, he did make a couple of smart, affordable additions.
How active will Green Bay be in the coming days? Will Gutekunst look for another inside linebacker, or will he be active in a search for a wide receiver or tight end? It should be another interesting day before the new league year officially begins tomorrow.
