The Green Bay Packers still have some decisions to make in free agency.

We’re a couple of days into the new league year and the Packers have already made some additions to the roster, signing inside linebacker Christian Kirksey and tackle Rick Wagner. Both players will likely be starters in 2020.

The Packers have also re-signed tight end Marcedes Lewis and safety Will Redmond and brought back five exclusive rights free agents.

They’ve also lost some players. Tackle Bryan Bulaga has signed with the Los Angeles Chargers, tight end Jimmy Graham is now with the Chicago Bears, and linebackers Blake Martinez and Kyler Fackrell have signed with the New York Giants.

But there are decisions still to be made. Here are the Packers’ remaining unrestricted free agents:

Williams could still return. Green Bay needs depth at cornerback and he can still play. Williams is also a leader in the locker room.

Re-signing Campbell and Ervin would also make sense. Campbell has played well when healthy and would give the Packers added depth at safety. Ervin proved late in the season how valuable he can be on special teams while also contributing as a role player on offense.

Outside of those three, it’s hard to see general manager Brian Gutekunst bringing any of the others back.

Veldheer played well when the Packers needed him, but the signing of Rick Wagner makes it unlikely he’ll be back. Allison had a disappointing season in 2019 and the Packers need to get better at wide receiver.

With limited cap room available, Gutekunst might not bring any of them back. But it would make sense to work out short-term deals with Campbell and Ervin, and re-signing Williams should also be a consideration.
