Many mock drafts have the Green Bay Packers selecting a wide receiver in the first round.

A week into free agency, the Packers have addressed needs at inside linebacker and right tackle, but they are yet to make a move at wide receiver.

This mock draft roundup reflects that. The Packers desperately need to add more talent at the skill positions on offense, most notably at wide receiver.

Many draft analysts seem to agree.

NFL Spin Zone, Cody Williams

Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

Interestingly, in this mock draft by Cody Williams of NFL Spin Zone, the Packers trade out of the first round before selecting wide receiver Jalen Reagor with the second pick of the second round. This would be a similar trade to the one the Packers made in 2017 when they moved out of the first round before selecting Kevin King at the start of Day 2.

Williams makes a great case in the mock draft of why drafting the speedster would be a smart move.

Joe Marino, The Draft Network

Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU

It’s Reagor again in this mock draft by The Draft Network’s Joe Marino. This time, though, there’s no trade down and the Packers select Reagor at No. 30 overall. There could be a run on receivers quite early in the first round, but even in such a scenario, GM Brian Gutekunst will likely be spoilt for choice when Green Bay hits the clock for the first time.

Reagor would be an excellent pick. He’s an explosive receiver and is incredibly fast. That’s what this offense needs.

NFL.com, Charley Casserly

Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson

Another mock draft with the Packers selecting a receiver in the first round. NFL.com’s Charley Casserly has Green Bay selecting Tee Higgins out of Clemson, passing up the opportunity to select Reagor.

A month or so ago it might’ve seemed unlikely Higgins would fall this far, but now it can’t be ruled out. With so many first-round receivers in this class, teams picking ahead of the Packers will be able to choose the players who best fit their schemes.

If Higgins is still on the board at No. 30, this could be a very easy choice for Gutekunst.

CBS Sports, Ryan Wilson

Neville Gallimore, DL, Oklahoma

Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports has the Packers going in a completely different direction, selecting Oklahoma defensive lineman Neville Gallimore. Green Bay’s run defense needs work and that includes strengthening the defensive line. As Wilson notes in the mock draft, the Packers need to add more talent around Kenny Clark.

Like receiver, the Packers haven’t addressed the defensive line in free agency up to this point. It’s an area they need to strengthen.
