Three moves the Green Bay Packers should’ve made in free agency.

The Green Bay Packers entered free agency with limited cap room but general manager Brian Gutekunst was still able to make a few additions. That said, which moves should the Packers have made?

Let’s quickly recap the moves the Packers made.

Gutekunst signed players at three positions of need. Inside linebacker Christian Kirksey, right tackle Ricky Wagner and wide receiver Devin Funchess. Yet while all three help address positions of need and are on affordable contracts, it doesn’t feel like any of these positions have been fixed. And that’s even factoring in that two of them could be starters.

As for the players they lost, Blake Martinez and Kyler Fackrell both signed with the New York Giants. Linebacker B.J. Goodson signed with the Cleveland Browns. Right tackle Bryan Bulaga signed with the Los Angeles Chargers. Two players remained in the NFC North: wide receiver Geronimo Allison signed with the Detroit Lions and tight end Jimmy Graham the Chicago Bears.

The Packers were still active in free agency as expected, even if they didn’t spend big money. With less cap room than a year ago, they had to be more cautious although they could’ve managed to make a big move if they needed to.

Here are three moves they should’ve made.
