Packers 2010s All-Decade Team: Aaron Jones makes the team
Which players make the Green Bay Packers 2010s All-Decade Team?
With the NFL releasing its 2010s All-Decade Team earlier this week, we’ve decided to put together a Green Bay Packers team, looking at the best players over the past 10 years.
Aaron Rodgers is part of the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade Team as well as former Packers, edge rusher Julius Peppers and guard Jahri Evans.
Now comes the difficult decision of putting together an All-Packers team.
To make it even more challenging, there are 11 players on offense, 11 on defense and four on special teams. The team has one quarterback, one running back, three wide receivers, one tight end, five offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, four linebackers, two cornerbacks, two safeties, one kicker, one punter, one kick returner and one punt returner.
There are no backups or depth, this is a starting lineup put together with the best players from the past decade. As you can imagine, this led to a number of tough decisions including at running back, wide receiver and edge rusher. Especially after a successful 10-year period for the Packers that involved a lot of winning, including a championship in 2010.
Aaron Jones or Eddie Lacy? Randall Cobb or Greg Jennings? Tramon Williams or Sam Shields?
So here goes. Here’s my attempt at putting together a Green Bay Packers 2010s All-Decade Team.
